If you're a beginner or advanced, this book will teach you to draw as well as the fundamentals of drawing.

There's a lot of variability in the techniques offered and I hope that it improves my drawing skills by the end of the book. My only gripes are that I wish the covers were sturdier, as I think this will not hold up super long and I also am not sure that the pages are the best quality, as they feel pretty thin. Either way, I think a person buying this would be doing so for the experience and it's a great idea for a product.

The "Not Just a Sketchbook" is a really cool idea! It is less of a blank sketchbook and more of a full, interactive art class bundled into a spiral-bound book. Aspiring artists will love the prompts, lessons, and coloring sections that push you beyond just doodling. It is fantastic for breaking through creative blocks because it encourages you to write, sketch, and experiment all in one place. The overall content and interactive approach are excellent. There are QR codes that take you to video lessons, which is just about the coolest thing I have seen in an educational book. It's nice that it is a lay flat book with a spiral binding. However, be aware that the paper quality isn't the best. It is very thin. I ended up using a better sketchbook to follow the lessons.

This concept is so cool! I am loving the interactive lessons that go along with the pages in the book.

This Book was so cool! I've been working on getting better at drawing for years, and I've always struggled to have a consistent regimen. The lessons are well laid out and helpful. I have a different view of how to approach different methods after using this book. 100% would recommend for anyone wanting to learn how to draw or has a family member that would benefit.
